Scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2024, this highly anticipated event, presented by Versatile Image (VI) and Salt Lake City Economic Development, aims to raise crucial funds for a business incubator dedicated to supporting creative professionals and underrepresented.

This year's block party, which brings Billboard Hot 100 artist Tinashe to Utah, promises an exciting lineup of live entertainment, activities, live art to vendors, and your favorite food trucks. It will also spotlight the importance of fostering diversity and inclusion in the entrepreneurial landscape.
The Unity Block Party offers activities for all ages, supported by sponsors like Rocky Mountain Power, Google Fiber, and SLC Ace Grant. "We want to reflect the world we live in—an authentic, multifaceted place that is innately for everyone.," said Michelda G. Castro, Founder and CEO of Versatile Image and Strategic Program Manager for the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity for USBCI. Her agency has collaborated with Utah companies, including Makaya Caters, Utah Black Chamber, Key Bank, Afro Paradigm, Patagonia SLC, and Redmond Real Salt, as well as international brands like Nike.
